American Red Cross helps five after Schenectady fire
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– Schenectady Fire Department officials said a fire on Eastern Avenue was contained to one apartment on Friday evening. Officials added that no one was injured.
On Saturday, Schenectady Fire Department Chief Dan Mareno said the home wasn’t a total loss since firefighters had the fire contained to one apartment. He added that the American Red Cross is assisting at least five people.
