Clifton Park woman arrested on assault, drug charges
CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of a Clifton Park woman following an assault investigation. Erica Lyon, 40, is facing multiple charges.
Lyon is accused of intentionally harming someone with a deadly weapon near Ashdown Road in Clifton Park on September 30. She was taken into custody just after 6 p.m. on Monday.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim was taken to Ellis Hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening injury. At the time of her arrest, Lyon was allegedly found with quantities of meth and narcotics.
Lyon was charged with six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree assault. She was arraigned at the Clifton Park Town Court before being remanded to the Saratoga County Jail.
