Girl, 3, in hospital after ‘incident’ on busy street
Police say they were called to a crash involving a car and a parked vehicle on Main Street in the town on Thursday, October 10.
The force was alerted to the collision shortly after 7pm. Emergency crews then raced to the scene.

After that, the driver of the car, a 34-year-old woman and the passenger a three-year-old girl, were taken to hospital.
Following that, the woman was charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7.15pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, we were called to a collision involving a car and a parked vehicle on Main Street in Thornliebank.
“Emergency services attended and the driver of the car, a 34-year-old woman, and passenger, a three-year-old girl, were taken to hospital as a precaution.
“The 34-year-old woman was charged in connection with road traffic offences and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
