(KRON) – The Hayward Police Department is investigating the city’s 14th homicide of the year.
At around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, Hayward police officers responded to an industrial complex near the 25000 block of Industrial Boulevard for the report of a shooting. Responding officers found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The victim’s identity is being withheld until the next of kin is notified.
Police have no suspects in custody at this time.
