Matrimonial Ad Of Investor With 16 Slides Powerpoint Pitch Triggers The Internet: ‘Just Bull Market Things’
The matrimonial classified section in the Indian newspaper (and digital portals) is not for beginners. If you ever feel like stifling away time profiling (and judging) total strangers (not online but) on a print medium, then do flip your local newspaper. Amongst the cache of classist casteist classified ads, there are rare gems that are out there to outdo the benchmark of bigotry set by another. One such has gone semi-viral on the internet. It profiles the groom from Meerut (NCR) as an “intellectual, handsome, smart, vegetarian, good-natured, affectionate, highly educated, Gaur Brahmin,” who is 26 years old, with a height of 5’11.25” and education of BSc and MBA. The matrimony ad also claims that the boy is an investor, earning 29 LPA. It also states that the prospect’s net worth is growing 54% annually with “self-discovered and self-taught” work as he owns a “safe business.” The ad further suggests the enquirer to ping on WhatsApp to avail off a 16 slider powerpoint presentation explaining “how safe investment makes him financially independent.” The requirements for a bride state that the “girl should be well cultured, intelligent, wise, good-natured, affectionate, well-educated, homely, and working/non-working. There’s “no demand” for dowry.
@ActusDei – maybe someone from your team should reach out to him. Not for matrimonial but for that ppt! 😉 pic.twitter.com/9jAquIy1co

“Just bull market thing,” jibed one user, while another commented, “Boli shuru karo bhai.” Several users flagged the ad as fake, “Sly ad for financial service. ”
