Missing Long Plain boy, 13, last seen by family over 2 weeks ago | CBC News
A missing 13-year-old boy from a First Nation in south-central Manitoba could be in danger and could be in one of several cities in the province, police say.
Bone’s family told police on Saturday that they had not seen him for two weeks, the Manitoba First Nation Police Service said in a news release on Wednesday. The 13-year-old contacted his girlfriend on social media but would not say where he was.
Family members are concerned about Bone’s safety and believe he could be in Portage la Prairie, Winnipeg, Brandon or Thompson, police said.
Bone is described as five feet, one inch tall with a shaved head.
Anyone with information on Bone’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Long Plain First Nation detachment at 204-252-4480, or submit an anonymous tip to 1-833-978-0048 or TIPS@mfnp.ca.
