Rangers granted permission to sell alcohol from marquee at Old Firm clash
The club was granted an occasional licence for alcohol to be served in the marquee in the Edmiston House car park.
Police Scotland asked that a maximum of four drinks be served per person during each transaction in the tent among a number of conditions as the application went before the city’s licensing board.

Lawyer Stephen McGowan, representing Rangers Football Club, said the club want to “enhance hospitality and the match day experience” for fans.
He told this morning’s licensing board that places in the marquee must be pre-booked with no walk-ins allowed and there is a 200-capacity limit.
Food is available and the hospitality area is open before and after the games with low level music playing.
The marquee was erected previously in April for an Old Firm game, which Mr McGowan described as a “success.”
Police Inspector Gareth Griffith confirmed there were “no issues” in relation to the tent during the April 7 match.
Councillors sitting on the licensing board granted the occasional licence application.
