Scots DJ becomes dad as he reveals baby boy in heartwarming social media post
A SCOTS DJ has announced the arrival of his new baby boy in a touching social media post.
Ewan McVicar, 30, shared the exciting news with thousands of his Instagram and X followers.
The Ayr-born producer found fame in 2021 with his hit cover of Tell Me Something Good.
He and his partner, Aimei Melvin, revealed their pregnancy back in July.
The new dad posted heartwarming snaps with his newborn son on Instagram.
In the same post, he revealed his son’s name—Mac, born on Wednesday and reported to be “happy and healthy.”

McVicar wrote: “Welcome to the world, Mac. Mummy and baby both healthy! I’ll love you both forever, could not be prouder of you.”
In a follow-up post on X, he added: “Had my wee boy yesterday. Mummy and baby both healthy and happy. The maddest thing ever, it’s as mental as everyone describes, absolutely nothing comes close.”
Friends and fans flooded the comments with congratulations for the new parents.
UFC icon Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblet said: “No feeling like it man, congratulations brother”.
Still Game star Greg Hemphill wrote: “Congrats man!!”
And fellow Scots DJ Frazier added: “Unreal my man” Congrats to both of you!”.
