Shah Rukh Khan’s Bodyguard Earns Rs 2.7 Crore Annually, Just Like Salman Khan’s Shera? Here’s The Truth
Bollywood celebrities share a close relationship with their security detail. With the constant threats of paparazzi, over-enthusiastic fans and stalkers, a reliable bodyguard is surely important. In a recent interview Yusuf Ibrahim, a known security consultant, who has provided protection to many A-list Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and others, spoke about the hefty salaries some of the famous Bollywood bodyguards earn.
During the podcast, when asked about Ravi Singh’s, Shah Rukh Khan’s bodyguard, rumoured income being Rs 2.7 crore annually, Ibrahim dismissed the question. He explained that they don’t know how much anyone is earning. However, when probed further, he said, “Itna possible nahi hai (It’s not possible).” For those who don’t know, Ravi is SRK’s personal bodyguard and is considered as a trusted figure in his life. He ensures the actor is safe and sound during all his public appearances and travels.

Earlier it was reported that Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera, real name Gurmeet Singh Jolly, earns Rs 2 crore annually. It is to be noted that Shera has worked with Khan for over two decades now. His loyalty, professionalism and dedication towards his work is often lauded by the fans. He even opened his own security agency called Tiger Security. While Ibrahim refused to comment on Ravi’s earnings, he had a different answer for Shera’s earrings. He explained that since the bodyguard has his own multiple businesses, there is a possibility that his earnings are quite high.
When asked about Akshay Kumar’s bodyguard, Shreysay Thele who reportedly earns Rs 1.2 crores annually, Yusuf revealed that he doesn’t have his personal information. Quoted by Indian Express, he added, “Calculate monthly — Rs 10 to Rs 12 lakh — it is possible, not possible too. Depends on what billing is going for your shoot or events or promotions. How much is your salary? All these things factor in. How many days a month your star is working, the billing depends on that!” He concluded his statement by stating that according to him these figures were just randomly printed by someone.
