Strictly finalist Tasha Ghouri to make Thirsk return:
Tasha Ghouri, a television personality, activist, model, and social media influencer, will be at White Rose Books in Thirsk Market Place on Monday, December 23, from 2pm.
She will be signing copies of her book, ‘Hits Different,’ which she co-authored with Lizzie Huxley-Jones.
The book is a summer romance about self-love, friendship, and representation. Copies can be reserved in advance by contacting the bookshop.
Tasha was watched daily by over three million people on Love Island and is a proud global ambassador for DeafKidzUK.

She supports many charities to help the deaf community.
Speaking ahead of the series, the Thirsk-born TV star said former Glitterball winner Rose Ayling-Ellis had congratulated her on joining the 2024 line-up.
Tasha said: “I feel proud to be representing the deaf community as well.
“We both have such different experiences being deaf growing up, so it’s nice that I can bring something different to the table in terms of the cochlear implant and my journey.”
Tasha and her professional dance partner, Aljaz Skorjanec, are one of four couples in the final, which is to be broadcast on Saturday, December 14, less than 10 days before her homecoming.
