We Want To Know How Your State’s Abortion Laws Are Affecting Your Life

In this election, abortion laws are at stake (again).

For 49 years, America recognized a woman’s right to choose whether or not to carry a child to term as a fundamental “right to privacy,” allowing her to get an abortion without penalty. Then, in June 2022, a predominantly male panel of Supreme Court Justices voted to overturn that right and allow states to decide whether or not they want to grant their citizens a right to abortion.

Because of the Court’s new ruling, women across several states have inherently lost complete access to medical care for safe abortions.

To add insult to injury, Donald Trump can’t stop boasting about how he was able to strip away a woman’s right to an abortion, and give legislative power regarding the issue back to the states.

The results have been devastating for some, and complicated for many.

I know there are real people with real stories about how the country’s recent abortion laws have affected them, and I want to hear them. Share your experiences in the comments below, or anonymously respond by filling out this Google form here.
