Events and gigs
Comedian Tommy Tiernan will take his ‘Tommedian‘ show to Vicar Street, Co Dublin, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, with some tickets remaining for each night.
For the Swifties out there, Swiftogeddon (the Taylor Swift-themed club night) will kick off at 10:30pm in The Grand Social on Friday night, with non-stop Swift all night: deep cuts, extended mixes, fan favourites, and all the hits!
The Wolfe Tones will play three sold-out shows for their 60th anniversary in Dublin’s 3Arena on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you’re keen to go, keep an eye out for resale tickets on Ticketmaster!
If you’re on a budget, Mini Oktoberfest Dublin on Saturday could be the event for you. With free entry, the event in Smithfield promises games, karaoke, and drink deals on the night inspired by the infamous festival.
Gauche Market, a market for “eccentric and enthusiastic” small businesses, is back in Wigwam on Middle Abbey St on Sunday from noon until 5pm.
If it’s a night on the town you’re after, Copper Face Jacks is free entry on Friday and Saturday before 10:30pm, and SEEK nightclub in Hyde Dublin is free entry on Saturday.
If you need a hangover cure, there is park yoga in Great Western Square on Sunday for €10 per person.
Looking to other counties, in Sligo, Strandhill people’s market takes place from 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
The Cork Vintage Kilo Sale will be in the Clayton Hotel in Cork City on Sunday. Shoppers can expect 5,000 unique vintage and preloved garms and to pay by weight for only €35 per kilo! You can buy as much or as little as you want.
Stand-Up Comedy Club: Primetime Comedy Show will take place in The Roundy in Cork on Friday and Saturday, with tickets from €25.
Calling all Dancing Queens, Galway will play host to ABBA Bottomless Brunch, taking place in the Gourmet Food Parlour in Salthill on Saturday.
The €35 tickets include bottomless mimosas, Abba hits from a live DJ, themed cocktail and pint promos, a selection of brunch dishes, and spot prizes.
