Wing Commander Shubhanshu Sharma Gets Sneak Peek Into Lunch Time In Space During Training
Axiom Space recently conducted an interactive training session for the crew of its upcoming Ax-4 mission, focusing on meal preparation for their journey to the International Space Station (ISS).
The session provided astronauts including Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla with a detailed understanding of the diverse food options available in space and taught them how to prepare their meals. Apart from the four membered crew, Group Captain Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair is also training as the backup astronaut.

The astronauts are receiving their training at Axiom Space’s astronaut training facility in Houston, Texas to ensure that private astronauts are equipped with the necessary skills to live and work in space.
In addition to meal preparation, the program includes familiarisation with other vital aspects of life aboard the ISS, such as using sleeping quarters, maintaining hygiene, and adhering to emergency protocols.
